It does seem odd that it doesn't come with bobby pins, especially since we know AG makes them! The pinner cap will only stay on if the doll is on display and just standing or sitting somewhere. These dolls were made to be played with. Elizabeth should be able to dance without her cap turning into a frisbee.

When I called, they did not sell Marisol's bobby pins as a replacment part.I wanted one to make Lindsey a hairpin.

I looked around and found the same exact size of Bobby pin at my local Sally Beauty supply.I also saw some that size at the "Dollar Tree".

Anyone who needs to make Lindsey a hair pin- you only need one Bobby Pin, 16 tiny red seed beads and some clear thread with a small needle.

I later bought a "real" Lindsey bobby pin, thinking my homemade one might not be exact, but I can barely tell them apart at all.

Anyhow, there are places out there that carry the mini bobby pins, and for very little $.

Question

How does the pinner cap stay on her head? Do you bobby pin it, or is there some magic method I am unaware of? DD likes to dance with her, and that "doily" as DH calls it keeps spinning around to various corners of the rooms.

Thanks,
Elle

bobby pins.

Felicity's pinner cap used to come with bobby pins, but doesn't anymore. I don't think Elizabeth's ever did.

It doesnt come with any bobby pins, I'm using one of Marisol's right now... but you may be able to get some as replacement parts from AG if you call customer service.

That is something that has really been bugging DD...that pinner cap. I can't figure out why they didn't send bobby pins with it because there is no way for it to stay on without them....
